The third installment of the Chronicles of Narnia franchise The Voyage of the Dawn Treader has wrapped filming. Director of the first two installments Andrew Adamson has stepped down for the director’s chair and has been replaced by Michael Apted whose greatest feats in directing seem to be episode of HBO’s Rome. Little is known about the decision to make the third installment but since the previous film, Prince Caspian, didn’t perform as hoped it was doubtful that a third film would be made. With announcements that Treader has wrapped we can all look forward it’s forthcoming release. I know I probably wasn’t the only one disappointed at the prospect of this franchise dying out, and I’m glad to see it back in action.
